These controls are to provide alternative means of accessing the information on this page. Two main facilities are provided: adjusting the text size and listening to the text on the page.
1) Adjusting Text Size:
You can increase the text size by clicking on 'Larger' (access key '+'), and reduce it by clicking on 'Smaller' (access key '-'). You can reset the size back to its original value by clicking on 'Reset' (access key 'j')
2) Listening to the Text

3. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST AND REQUESTS FOR DISPENSATION
Members to be reminded of their responsibility to continually update their Notice of Registerable Interests and invited to state whether they have any interest in the items to be discussed during this meeting in accordance with the Council’s Code of Conduct.
Unforeseen requests for a Dispensation to be considered at this point only if there was no way a Councillor would have been aware of such before the meeting.
4. RATIFICATION OF MINUTES
To approve and sign the minutes of the Annual Meeting of the Council held on 5 May 2022
Matters Arising:
(i) The deadline for the Tidy Teignbridge Fund has passed
(ii) To note that the pre-school has returned its signed agreement and paid the peppercorn rent
(iii) To thank all those involved in putting on the village Jubilee celebrations, particularly MarK Hutchins for arranging the fireworks and Lloyd Mortimore for donating the Jubilee stone
(iv) To note delays in transitioning to online banking and adding Cllr Elliott as a signatory

6. PROJECTS & ESTATES

(a) Parish Field
(i) To note the formation of Parish Field Committee and to consider a proposal for the planting of an orchard (plan and details circulated to members) and method of consultation with
parishioners
(ii) To receive an update on the grazing licence
(iii) To receive and consider quotations for a new gate to the entrance of the field
(b) Village Strimming
(i) To retrospectively approve the strimming of the centre of the village by Geoff Partridge prior to the Jubilee celebrations (authority for this was given by the Chair, in consultation with the clerk,
at a cost of £80)
(ii) To consider a quote of £150 from Geoff Partridge for strimming for the centre of the village including the four roads out of the village
(c) Fixed Assets Register
To receive updated fixed assets register
(d) Widecombe Fair
To receive and consider a proposal from the Widecombe Fair Committee in respect of letting fees for this year’s event
(e) Chestnut Tree
To consider whether any action is required with regard to the chestnut tree on the green to ensure it’s health and/or safety

Retrospective permission for change of use to a secure dog walking field including provision of a parking area and shelter
To note that DNPA has refused to grant permission
(ii) 0147/22 – The Old Mill, Ponsworthy
Siting of caravan/log cabin within the residential curtilage of the dwellinghouse known as the The Old Mill to be used as ancillary accommodation to that dwellinghouse
To note that DNPA has issued a Certificate of Lawful Use
