Tracey Elliot-Reep

Dartmoor Christmas Trees

We are hosted and supported by UK Web Hosting

After the WHG AGM Tracey Elliot Reep showed slides and gave a talk on her latest adventure “Riding Across Southern Europe”.
Her motto is “If you don’t have a dream how can a dream come true”.
She has already ridden horses the full length of New Zealand, through Scotland and on to southern Ireland, Mexico  to Canada and her latest  adventure being across south  Europe,  from Greece through Italy, Switzerland, France and Spain. She acquires  horses at the start, sometimes they have not been schooled or ridden much but because she has an affinity with horses the trust soon grows between them. Her encounters are many, she found the terrain breathtaking, complex and nearly impossible in equal measures. Rock faces and tunnels particularly challenging for horses.  People are mostly keen to help but crossing country boarders can produce hugh problems. She always found with  a few words of Spanish, her faith and a large amount of optimism she could overcome most problems. Tracey writes of her adventures and has produced several books, she is also a keen photographer and has a lovely collection of postcards.
Another of Tracey’s mottos
“You will either look back in life and wish you had or be glad you did “
