Open Meeting re new Village Hall 23rd May 2016

There is an open meeting re the proposal for a new village hall at the Church House at 7.00pm on 23rd May to discuss the proposal for a new village hall. Everyone is welcome and we would love to hear your views.

School Library Re-opens After Refurbishment

On 6th May 2016 there is a re-opening of the school library after refurbishment at Widecombe School. They are also trying to raise money for new books for the library. Please support this worthwhile cause.

2015 Christmas Tree Festival

This was held in Widecombe Church on December 12th-14th 2015.

New Craft Gallery at the National Trust Shop

February 9th 2015 sees the opening of a permanent new local craft gallery on the middle floor of the National Trust Shop featuring work of local craftspeople including jewellery, textiles, wood and ceramics.

New Owners for the Café on the Green

The new owners hope to have the Café open in April 2015. Please read this article in the Western Morning News for more information.

Teignbridge Citizens Advice Bureau

Teignbridge CAB have launched a Friends support group in order to help raise funds. Further details can be found here.
