Lowertown Farm Bed and Breakfast is set in a small hamlet near Poundsgate, only three miles away from the picturesque village of Widecombe-in-the-Moor.

Whether it is climbing, kayaking, walking, cycling or horse-riding, Lowertown Farm is an ideal base for your stay. There is a good pub within a short walk and other recommended pubs are a short drive away. We can also provide a packed lunch for your day trip by prior arrangement only.

Hannah and Luke Fursdon welcome you with the guests' own sitting room (with a log burner lit on cold nights), comfy sofas and an English breakfast, sourced locally when possible (including fresh eggs from our own chickens). We can provide local knowledge and recommendations to make the most of your stay with us.

We can also offer B&B with livery (including stabling) so that you can bring your horses on holiday with you and ride locally on the open common, quiet lanes and woodland!

We offer a family room (with a bunk bed), a double room, and a twin room (can be made into another double bed if required). Pets are welcome by prior agreement only, please call us for details. We take no more than six guests at a time to ensure you have a relaxed enjoyable stay.

Our prices are as follows:

• One or two nights stay: £25 per person per night based on two people sharing
• Three or more nights: £22 per person per night
• Single occupancy charge applies at £32.50 per night
• Children ten years old and under: £22 per night
• Children 2 years old and under: free if you bring your own equipment including a cot

Directions from Widecombe-in-the-Moor:

From the centre of Widecombe, follow the signs for Ponsworthy.

Drive straight through Ponsworthy, following signs for Poundsgate, then take the next left at the group of houses signposted towards 'Lowertown'. You enter a 60 mph zone.

Follow this road until you reach the Hamlet with two stone barns either side of the road, you are now outside of Lowertown B&B.

The journey from Widecombe to Lowertown should take around 15 minutes.
