Our revised format should be easier for you to follow and for us to maintain.

Note that we have minimised the visual differences. But you might spot some further changes as we introduce them.

The main visible change is to the menu on the left. This menu is repeated on every page and has been broken down into three parts to keep it manageable for you (and for us!). Run your mouse over the menu to see how the lower level pages appear. If no further level appears then you are at the bottom level and can click to be taken to that page.

Note that when your cursor is over an item on the menu, it changes colour and this colour follows you down the menu hierarchy.

The three parts to the menu are:

  • The Main Menu - this has everything in it with the exception of the History Group and the Parish Council, which are included at the top level only. You will need to cick on the top level in order to be taken to the respective pages where you can view the other parts as described below
  • The History Group Menu - this has everything to do with the History Group as well as some main menu items - mainly to help you navigate around the site
  • The Parish Council Menu - this has everything to do with the Parish Council, again with some main menu items

If the menu is not visible then you will need to go to the Site Contents page to see the full list of the website contents.

The page headings should also reflect the content more accurately.

Please note that this is a large site and the conversion task is considerable. We wanted to get this new format into use as early as possible and so we have done so before we have finished converting all of the History Group and Parish Council minutes. We will complete this as soon as possible.
