After a packed-out first screening, the local film club is pleased to announce the confirmed dates and films, as voted for by attendees, for the rest of the 2008 season.

There are currently no plans for any screenings in 2009 and beyond.

February Sunday 24th - Little Miss Sunshine (2006) certificate 15

A family determined to get their young daughter into the finals of a beauty pageant take a cross-country trip in their VW bus (Please note this is the only Sunday screening of the season)

A contemporary story of love, rejection and triumph as a young Maori girl fights to fulfill a destiny her grandfather refuses to recognize

May - Saturday 31st- Rear Window (1954) PG

A wheelchair bound photographer spies on his neighbours from his apartment window and becomes convinced one of them has committed murder.

Doors open 7:15pm. Film starts promptly at 8pm

Arrive early to secure table, and avoid disappointment.

Bring your own wine, beer etc. Snacks and hot drinks on sale.
