This site is now well-established as a source of information about Widecombe for local people, visitors and others who are interested.

We include a limited amount of advertising from local businesses who recognise the potential of the Internet and who do not want to be left out.

Please remember, the site is TOTALLY NON-PROFIT MAKING. All income is paid to the Widecombe History Group, only the running costs of the site are deducted from income (these are very low and our time is given free). The surplus is distributed as the History Group thinks fit.
